Jordan
If you didn't make him an offer, then there is certainly nothing binding. I have dealt with Brad many, many times in the same situation you are describing and always been able to work out a deal.

Once your disappointment settles down, shoot Brad an email. You may also want to re-read your previous post and re-term some of it. Best not to burn too many bridges in this hobby. As Red-Green says, were all in it together.

To set the record straight...

Our last correspondence on June 17th I asked you to make me a fair offer on the cooler bits. You didn't. After not hearing back from you with an offer I opted to list them on e-bay on July 8th, thats like three weeks later. I can't be any more fair then that.

Brad

Wow the price of that dash is insane. Absolutly insane. To think I cheated myself out of some money when I sold one to a fellow MLU'er for $40 or so. But what I didn't make in profits I was quite content to know that I had helped out another here on the forum. Thanks Geoff for keeping this forum, the sense of community it fosters is fantastic.

OK, that's it. I'm breaking my carrier up and selling it for parts.

Default dashed...

My hopes of fitting a genuine original dash panel to my carrier seem to be rapidly fading. For the prices being asked I think I will buy some steel sheet, and the required tools and equipment, make myself a rough replica and still have enough change to go down to the pub for dinner...!

Cheers

Phill

Phill, next time I come across a Mk1 Dash, its yours. The price will also be way better then what some idiots are willing to pay on ebay.

I'd much rather see another MLU'er helped out then use the so-called "free market" to gouge people out of their money.

Hi,
To think I have given three dashes away for free in my time, I have a Mk2 dash like that one, a little bit more rusty but I might try me luck on ebay and spend a couple of all inclusive weeks in spain on the proceeds.
