| markings

Can anybody tell me what markings belong on a Universal carrier? I'm trying to replicate (in 1/35 th scale)a carrier used by the 53rd Welsh Division, 158th regiment. I have found several photo's in the collection of the Imperial War Museum, but they are a bit blurred, so you can't make out any numbers on the vehicle. |

Yes, My mistake. That's the one I mean. And in specific 1/5 Welsh Bn. Because they liberated the hometown of my grandfather. (or at least the part he lived in) |

Hello Mark, This helps me a lot , thank you! I take it the 62 sits on the right front fender, but where does the Welsh-marking go? And what markings where placed on the rear of the carrier? (if there were any...) |

The diagram in the attached thumbnail shows the 'basic' location for the Arm of Service (AoS) marking and the Formation Sign marking on the front and rear of a carrier. The '62' would go in the 'AoS Here' location and the 53rd Welsh Div marking would go in the 'Formation Sign Here' location on the attached diagram. Cheers
