Going through my "unknown files" which are now in the hundreds of photos.

Hi Bill
its a captured Crossley IGL 6x4, was used by the RAF most likely left behind in france

Thank you Les and send me to the pillory or whatever you lads call it for failing to note the prototypical Crossley front dampers or shockers or whatever.
It was the closed cab that had me stumped.

Bill the cab is original but the germans have replaced the pressed steel body with a wooden type, i wonder why?

Hi Les:
Just goes to show how little I know about British softskins.
I can only imagine the body may have been damaged destroyed and the Germans had a lot more wood than steel available.
