Hello All,
Would anyone know the width of the "C" channels used on rear cargo box on the 1940 Chevrolet WA Truck ? There are 4 per side and wonder if they could be 2" wide? Any details about the construction would be appreciated, thank you. |

Can’t provide the dimensions you’re looking for, sorry.
But here are some more photos of this truck: https://survivor79.smugmug.com/MILITARY-VEHICLES/LRDG/

Hello Hanno,
Thank you very much for the link and reply... The link has amazing high resolution photos that I will use for reference. I thought for sure that some of the guys already involved with this type of project before might have posted the answer... 2" seems to be in proportion, I just wanted to be sure...I'll make it work! ![]() |

Most people who have restored/built LRDG replica trucks have chosen the later 1533X2 Chev. Thats probably why no-one seems to know the measurements of the earlier WA or WB Chevs. However I think there is a restored WA Chev in Australia and another in France, so maybe those guys can respond?
