Cool Happy St Patricks Day MLU-ers

HAPPY ST PADDY'S DAY

An Old Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Some Irish Toasts ... here's a couple for starters:

Saint Patrick was a gentleman,
Who through strategy and stealth,
Drove all the snakes from Ireland,
Here’s a toasting to his health.
But not too many toastings
Lest you lose yourself and then
Forget the good Saint Patrick
And see all those snakes again.

'Beannachtam na Feile Padraig!'
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Default St Patrick's Day

What's with all this Fenian stuff, anyway?

Can one now walk up Shankill Road then move over and walk up Falls Road, with impunity?

Hi Jon,

Guess I need a little more edumacating since I'm still not sure what you're referring to : (and why would a moderator want to delete this?)

Little late for St Paddy's day but thought I'd pass this on for a laugh..
I'ts audio only so turn on your speakers..

A friend of mine sent me a URL for a soundfile that has had me laughing hysterically, in it you can hear the cherubic voice of a young Irish girl on the phone organising a contractor to demolish her school.

Have a listen for yourself. Make sure your speakers are on, and laugh like you’ve not laughed in a while.

I’m not sure what’s funnier, the actual concept, or the sound of other people laughing, to me the sounds of laughter are always infectious.

Enjoy!
