Very nice job, the M37 is the vehicle I got my military driver licence in (DND 404) How about painting it in the old 3 tone CDN cammo scheme, which was my favorite.

| 3/4 ton SMP

I also first learned how to drive on the 3/4 ton SMP. Just after I got my 404's in 1974, they took all of the units 3/4 tons away and replaced them with Power Wagons. A lot of people were PO'ed with that.

Did you spend any time in the Morada Motel (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)...or do any dancing at the Palamino? Back in the 60s, in Chatham, we had an Air Division of F-86 Sabre 6s with a far superior slot wing system than the Americans. Of course that's long before the present Liberal bunch of hooligans decimated our (Dis) Armed Forces. This is probably not the correct Forum for espousing such thoughts...but, what the Hell...

I was out there a while ago, and all I could find was Miramichi and some gun registry folks. Stewart |

| Chatham....

Jon.. By '64-'65 the F86's had gone and the 101 Voodoos were there.. While waiting for my course in Borden in mid -late'64 I was scraping the paint off the Golden Hawks F86 fuselages in the refinishing hanger ...Idle hands..didn't apply to me(Wink..wink). As for those dens of iniquity in the aforementioned posting...those applied and the other 6 zillion evil hovels from Edmonston to Shediac and possibly every other watering hole in the Maritimes...Oh the recuperative powers of a 20 year old..... These were the team colours in '63..for the Golden Hawks.. http://www.kitreview.com/reviews/f86...reviewpg_1.htm
