I took these pictures on 6 Jun 2003 at Reading, Pennsylvania USA at a re-enactors/airshow weekend.
I'm having a memory of encountering a carrier as a 10/12 year old back in the early 1950's. Our family went on a picnic, and out behind the barn was this square-boxy thing on tracks. I remember it had no roof, which I thought was odd, and there was a flat-head V-8 in the middle of it. I don't remember the steering wheel (at the time, I knew tracked things were steered with levers). It had to have been a Bren Gun Carrier; the story was that it was bought surplus near Philadelphia, and driven there over snow-covered roads. No, there is not a chance that it is still there!
