Default 13 cab Mudflaps & Doors

Help,
Does anyone have the dimensions/construction of the front mudflaps as fitted to CMP Cab 13 vehicles? All I have to go on are the remains of the width of the canvas which was bolted /sandwiched between the bottom of the wing and the retaining strip. Were they cross stiched for added strength?.One other quick question, with reference to the rear mudflaps. On my LAAT they were rubber, am I right in supposing that the front ones were canvas, OR were they originally rubber too? Bear in mind she was manufactured August 1942.
Another plea for help, this time concerning the drivers door. On the inside of the drivers door there are 4 holes drilled to take some kind of frame/pouch. The only thing I can think of is that this was retro fitted by the British Army, maybe to place maps or data sheets in, any thoughts?
Constuctive feedback welcomed
Keith
