Default South African Ford/M-H trucks?

Wheels and Tracks mention somewhere SA Army employed 1940 Ford/M-H 6x6 trucks untill late after the war (possibly similar to these:http://www.network54.com/Forum/threa...eid=1104513889).
Anyway, I realised that if SA produced the SA Reconnaissance car on Ford/M-H chassis they must surely have built trucks as well?
What do we know about these and were did they sell them?

Default

with the Barrel nose I would say these are 1939 models. I do know that Australia had a lot of these, but in 4X4 configuration, that were used as Gun Tractors (LP3 (AUST))

cheers
