Smile Carb Identification

Hi all,

Well I think at long last I may have found a Carb for my alligator. However it appers it is a twin choke solex for a flathead V8 but the identity numbers are not the same as the one which was removed.

Can anyone offer some nformation about this Carb. it is a 40 RZ INP. It was purchased a while back for a universal carrier but I am not sure about fitting it.

Still any info greatfully recieved.

bryan

PS. My engine is now back together and is only waiting the right Carb. Thanks to all those people that offerd a pair of water pumps to me. I was able to get a pair in the UK brand new old stock for sensiable money.

Thanks again

Hi Bryan,

You can find a picture on my website http://www.lwdparts.com about the Solex carb, select the category Carburators.

Mvg. Dirk
