Sherman C Tanks - CES

Looking through the CES list for the Sherman Firefly, it lists a requirement for 2 of these - to be supplied by the WD contractor (not USA)...

Protectors, Object Glass No4 Mk.I.

This is listed immediately after the Main Sighting Telescope, so am assuming is a part for that.

My guess is this is likely to be the rubber eye piece, but I could be wrong.

Anyone know please?
