Jean-Robert Blais, Cornwall, Ontario
Sad news. On June 18th, Jean-Robert Blais of Cornwall, Ontario passed away. I believe he was a longtime OMVA member and I know he was an enthusiastic collector/restorer of military vehicles. The following link will provide more info.

His shop was up the street from my in-laws and whenever we visited, I always tried to get up to see his collection of vehicles. If he was there, he gladly invited me in for a chat and look around. For years, Jean-Robert had a unrestored half track in his shop yard and offered to sell it but it was too big a project for my single car garage. Andrew (Half Track Guy) on MLU acquired the vehicle and has done a tremendous job of restoring the vehicle.
