Default Correct length water pump belts

Folks I have tried a number if belts or my ford mercury lump, all have either been too short or way too long, can anyone advise on the correct length belt or perhaps a part number ? I ran a cord around the pulleys, but the belt does not sit right done into the groove..

Just thought I would ask incase someone knows the specified length.

Cheers

Richie

B52 belts . Are they the wide belt, i.e. 5/8 inch?

Have a look at .46 deep x .44 small width x 33 degree angle.
(reference page P-12, UC-F1)
(UC-OM1, page 3)

The FUC-03 part number is 51-8620. If you look at Mac's you will find alternate part numbers 8620-21606 from the normal 49-18723-1 . Remember Richie is running a 239 engine.

These are the last set I have had, but are too long, I think I have had B52 which I could not stretch over all four pulleys.

These fit into the pulleys perfectly.
