Default GM Key blanks

I Have a few G.M. key blanks, made by Briggs and Stratton. The same key blank was used in the various GM's, built Stateside, from 1935 until 1966. Were they used in the Canadian, and Holden built Chevy CMP's?

My 1932, 1936 and 1938 GM of Canada data sheets quote Briggs & Stratton and another company providing keys.

Here's a 1942 British Army DME circular (the Directorate of Mechanical Engineering) stating that ignition keys of imported American and Canadian vehicles should be modified in order to prevent the loss of these keys.
