Hey lads, are we good-to-go another round this year? I surely hope so - it's a wonderful weekend in its own right! If you decide to do this, we'll be able to come up a day or two early to help set up, so no worries in that regard... but let's set the date and get the message out ASAP, ok?!

BTW, 15/16 August or 22/23 August is good for us...

Jif

If we are talking Bob's Burgers and Beer Day in beautiful down town Cheney,I was talking to Grant and Bob is in Halifax chasing tall ships this week..but I believe that he was planning a pass this year ....It is quite an undertaking..with most of the prep and clean up falling on Joyce and BOb..IT is amazing how much work goes into these events and when you are down to a small crew of 4-5 people..Bob..Joyce..Grant..Rob and his better 3/4ers..that is a heck of a pile of work...
But We better wait to hear from Boobee or Rob or Grant to get the story..
It is about time y'all blessed Ottawa with your presence and I haven't even heard of a Gracies call looming...

Alex, if it goes, set-up and clean-up is NOT a problem this year as I am now newly 'retired' from Bell and Sally is free as well. We can come up early, leave late and take whatever load is necessary. I'd like to see this go for the sake of continuity at least!

Default BB nothing......

Sorry for the late response guys....... been planning and packing for Halifax leaving Sat 18th for a week.....

The Ottawa Rotters have had some agonizing discussion earlier this year and decided that in view of the current economy and all that is happening around us that we would pass this year and have a bigger one next year,

Yes it is true that it is a lot of work to plan and execute but it has always been worth the effort.

With everyone's vacation schedule well underway for this season we could not do justice to having our usual bash.

Sorry for the inconvience chaps.

Let keep our plans open for mid August 2010......

Bob C.
