Default C15A spotted in Wales

While thumbing through the current issue of the British Practical Classics magazine, My eye struck a picture of a rather forlorn Chevrolet C15A with No.13 cab standing outside. According to the caption it can be see from the A5 motorway near Bethesda in Wales. It is unrestored and looks a bit sad, but is complete with GS body.

I hope this truck will be saved for preservation someday.

Hanno

Hi Ben,

I recall reading about it in a magazine in 2005, and posted the sighting here. I merged both threads.

Are you going to save it?

Hanno

Default re C15A

My Parents came accross this truck about 18 months ago while on holiday, knowing I was restoring a C15 they took loads of photo's for me and even located the owner.
Unfortunately it was not for sale and is a well known tourist attraction thereabouts good luck to whoever manages to pry it loose from the dreaded " I'll get round to restoring it someday" though it looks as though the cab has collapsed lately.

Some more pics found on the internet. A sad looking truck!

Default thats a shame!!!

looking at those pics Hanno just as well i didn't bother going to look at it!!! Judging from the the amount of rot in the body and the collapsing of the cab it looks to far gone. Probably going to make great spares for someone rather than a project.
