Some questions about CMP manuals
Dear colleagues !
I have some questions about CMP manuals: 1) Is this Manual (see below) good enough for understanding of CMP design and technical things and particularities of it ? How many pages this book must to have in total ? Is this book well illustrated or poor illustrated ? 2) Well-known MB-C1 Manual - how many pages this Manual must to have in total ? Different sources says about 260, or 360, or 398 pages, and so on. Where is truth ? Regards, Ed. |

Mb-c1
I thought that would be an easy one, but since the pages aren't numbered I took a guess and it looks to be about 360. No doubt someone with more patience than I will confirm.
As for your Ford manual, does it say which models it covers? It should be OK for engine and gearbox and other basic things like parts of the electrical system and brakes but may not have sections on things like transfer case, cab, wiring diagrams or winch. I have a spare MB-C1 so please send me a PM if you need one.

I have a copy of that manual and if it's the one I think it is, it's for Modified Conventional Pattern (MCP) trucks, not the CMP / DND type.
I'll dig it out and let you know the last page so you can see if you've got them all. It's very delicate, very thin paper compared to most. Edit: I've hunted all over the place and can't find it, so it's probably tidied somewhere safe. If it turns up I'll let you know. Last edited by Lauren Child; 22-05-12 at 00:24. |
