nice little find
As some of you may no my dad bought a 43 ford 4x2 polsten as dad wasnt sure what he was going to do with it ive now bought the truck from him.As it was a wet day we both decided to wet flat the doors in search of the cencus number
not only did we find the number but we also found a name of a garage which used the ford post war metro motors rickmansworth chorley wood with the phone number and the number 519 6 19 2 we did have the z at the beggining but rubed through finding the 5 but there we have it the cencus number is Z 5196192 we now plan to try and see if the garage is still around to see if we can uncover a little more history on the ford luke |

Nice one Luke,
It might be worth flatting down the front panels on the cab to see if there is any markings on those panels, and also the top of the cab. Keith |
