Default Chev 30Cwt

Help please , I am trying to identify this truck.
I have just bought a Chev (civilian) that looks like a 1942 30 cwt LRDG type.
I have three CMP chevs (C60s, C15 &C15A) they have close similarity's, engine, gearbox, dash panel.
Could this one be a left-over knockdown lend lease from WW2? or am I looking a post war civilian truck.
GM plate; Serial No: 6-1130-35512 P . Engine number XR 140275
First Holdens plate. Body number: 2653 Model 4542015.
Second Holdens plate. Colour DLX..BNGNA Batch No10 Date 47 Month 3
It was bought new in 1947, beige colour with black front fenders.
Civilian instrument panel, 15851 miles showing on the odometer. 700 x 20 tires. Wooden locally built tray.
Wheelbase 134 inches.
Previous owner (from new) says the truck has remained unmodified for its life.
Any comments would be most welcome,
regards, Robert

Robert,

I believe that the serial number indicates your truck is a 1946 model.

Please see the attached images (these images are from an eBay auction from approximately a year ago). When reading the information in the third image, for the 1946 model year, a 1 1/2 ton, 134 1/2” wheel base Chev truck chassis with cab serial number would read 61133xxxxx, whereas the equivalent GMC truck would have a serial number 69133xxxxx

Are you sure that the serial number includes the model number 1130? If the truck has a full cab, I believe the model number would normally be 1133.

Thanks Colin, definitely 6-1130-35512 P. Sorry can't upload pics of the id plate.
1946 makes sense. The pics that you have posted looks visually identical to my truck. Could the "P" refer to the Holden assembly works in Perth.
Another curious thing is that on both front fenders there has been a piece welded into the fender just below the air vents.
regards,
Robert
