Dale,
Nice try, but you're still inserting photobucket pictures. Please read Posting Images for more information on how to attach pictures on this forum. It should look like this when finished: Thanks, Hanno

Dale, save the photo from photobucket to your desktop, adjust it for size and upload it from there. That gets rid of the photobucket linkage. You can then either save it in another file on your computer or delete it from the desktop.
Regards Rick.

One can also attach photos already hosted on photobucket: click on the photo to go to its photobucket page. To the bottom right of the photo it says "SHARE THIS PHOTO". Click and copy the "Direct" field, go to "Manage Attachments" here on MLU and paste it in the "Upload File from a URL" field and click "Upload". Please go ahead and try - if you mess up it's no problem as the moderators can always delete it.

Dale,
1. Click on choose file. When it goes in the box you can select another in the next box etc. 2. click on upload file 3. scrole down and close the window. 4. click on the box to post as normal (the "submit reply" box at the bottom)

Attaching the picture is what we are looking for, well done Inserting the link to an attachment is not the preferred way, but can be done to re-use an attachment to an earlier posting. In you case it leads to an invalid attachment. I have moved the postings above from your thread to this one which anyone can use to try out attaching pictures. Thanks, Hanno
