Default Ram Tank project vehicle

Hi folks,
I was visiting the East of England Military Museum in August and among other things, found a Ram tank. Shaun Hendel said he planned to either restore it to be a kangaroo, or sell it. No price discussed as he seemed keen to keep it.
Former range target. Nose badly shot up, but has salvaged nose and other front armour. Has turret but no turret ring.

He is looking for a Sexton to use for the runing gear or a Grizzly (?)

Go here to see pics: http://picasaweb.google.com/renactr2/RamTank

Any leads?
Otherwise, enjoy the pics,
Cheers.
Jim

Hi Jim,

Thanks for sharing those pictures. Below is a picture of the same ex-Pirbright Ranges Ram while it was at Carl Brown's premises.

Sexton and Grizzly running gear is really too late for the Ram tank, Shaun ideally will have to find a donor M3 Medium tank, at least the bogies with the centre top roller.

Would be great to finally see a Ram restored to running condition! A Kangaroo, preferably. . .

Regards,
Hanno

I assume the last of the Sextons from Pounds including the rare GPO version ended up with Rex Cadman.

At the time there was also Mk2 Churchill Recovery in the yard.
