1950 ford f5 marmon herrington coe forestry rig
Rare as all get out...
1950 Ford F5 Marmon Herrington COE open carry forestry fire suppression and personnel carry This is believed to be the only surviving and completely original Open carry forestry fire suppression and personnel carry. Referred to by the forestry personnel as "Smokey bear's chariot" due to the unique open rear seat design. While black and white pictures of these incredibly rare vehicles exist, this is believed to be THE ONLY existing survivor example of a FACTORY 4x4 version of this Forestry Service open carry rig Showing only 3k original miles on the odometer it is 100% complete (yes we have the battery cover and doghouse, they are as mint and rot free as the rest of the truck) Truck was in service at the CEDARVILLE CA FORESTRY STATION under the DEPT of AGRICULTURE nomenclature.
