			A Guy I know just received his Plate ,He served in the Reserves for four hard years in Montreal in the 1970s and He is realy proud of his plate. Another Freind of Mine won the D.F.C in Normandy and Kiska during the war and is thinking of returning his plate as the other reserve guy,has one. Jeff |

 As has been pointed out, minimum time in is 3 years, Regular or Reserve plus Legion confirmation, for qualification for the new plate. I haven't got a DFC...only a certificate recognizing 37 years Canadian Forces service. Are you trying to tell me that I haven't earned the priviledge to have my Veteran plate? Might be an idea to advise your DFC friend that "the times they are a'changin", for better or worse...and that's the way it is.
