Default Mystery battery cover 5803858

I have this battery cover with chalked part number 5803858, presumably Chev/GM. It has 7.5" hole spacing for the tray studs: compared to the 11" hole spacing on common CMP's. Box is 9.5"X11.25" X 9" tall. This part number does not appear in common Chev CMP books or Otter or Fox parts books. There is ways a chance that the part number is wrong. Any ideas?
