What a shame!
What's the story behind the pictures? They must have been war surplus but how is it they could be left out in the open like that without souvenir hunters grabbing them? What a shame.
Derk.

not my pictures
Making there rounds around via email. I suspect Vietnam or Cambodia and whithin the confines of a military base.
By the looks of the rest of the pictures there are 100's of thousands staked up. crates looked to have been taken because the wood would be useful for cooking. Different priorities, it's just junk to them. |

G'day Harry,
Do you have a link to that site? I'm sure that as well as myself, others would like to explore the website. Thanks Rick.

Ge
Too many GE miniguns including a rare model in 223 and the look of the buildings in the background suggest to me some place with more American involvement.

Spotted a couple or M16 uppers as well. I'd say Vietnam with the older stuff being leftovers from the earlier IndoChina fighting the French and associated Mercs did.
I remember these shots floating around the Internet from 8-10 years ago but seems there was no details attached back then either. Someone has simply found them and modernized them in FaceBook.

Have seen these shots floating around the Internet for many years.
Most surprisingly: why have the scrap men not yet moved in on this? H.
