Civilian Ford Truck Pics

Hello, I'm a newbie here. I might have the opportunity to purchase at an auction one of several civilian Ford truck wrecks. What year of truck and body style would I be looking for to get a rear end, tranny and flathead that would match up with our '42 carrier hull. Perhaps someone can direct to photographs of the right truck. Thanks very much.
