| carrier detail

Found this site. It has very nice photo's of a universal carrier no2 mkII. It answers a lot of questions about where things go and what they are for. http://images.google.ca/imgres?imgur...CA307%26sa%3DN

| Interesting!

Have no idea who has this carrier but from photos it looks nice. Postwar aerial mount but what is interesting/peculiar/strange/exciting is its T number. If this number belongs to this carrier, then it was one of a batch of 20,000 numbers allocated by the WO to N.America for carriers. Not just that but I have a note that number CT295959 (in the same batch and before T296905) was on a T16! Poses the questions which is correct? Why the CT and not T in the same batch? An American built MkII? A Canadian built T16? What fun! Its the mulled wine!! Happy New Year! Nigel
