I think that the only really critical dimension here is the thickness of the material of the lock ring. By that I mean the gap that you could measure if the ring were clamped between two flat surfaces, not the difference between its inside and outside radius. This thickness dimension is critical to the end float of the U joint spider bearings. All the other dimensions govern how well it snaps into its groove but really, as long as it does snap in, that will be ok.
