Default Launceston ammunition factory

Nice find Mike.

The development and use of the production facilities for the manufacture of artillery ammunition at the Tas Rail Launceston Workshops' Govt Annex is well covered in my new book 'Fire! The 25-pdr in Australian Service'.Both projectiles and fuzes: Edit: correction: Primers (both unfilled) were manufactured in Tasmania, the latter by an annex at Henry Jones IXL company near Hobart, who were far better known for manufacturing jams and preserves.
