"Silent C One"?
Was combing the local newspaper archives yesterday and came across this small article about Canadian "Secret" weapons. It mentions a giant slingshot used in Italy called the "Silent C One". (Calgary Herald, Feb 27, 1945)
"The Nazi's detest it."
Is this some sort of bizzare propaganda or is this for real? Did we really resort to flinging objects at the enemy with a big rubber band? I did a google search and nothing came up.
