From what I have read on the Armoured Caterpillar thread, they seem to have maintained a pretty good archive. Would it be worth contacting them to see if anything in their files would indicate if these were bought ‘off the shelf’ from use with other vehicles, or custom ordered just for the D6A and D7A?
