Default Carrier armour

Tole conducter is the plate at the rear end of the carrier .When carriers were made in Canada they did not know what a (mm) was .It was all imperial measurements .When I last measured the side plate I got 1/4 " .Now if some one wants ,I can measure the thickness of all my arnour now that this Canadian knows what metric is . Could it have been possible that in UK they were metric and in Canada they were imperial . That reminds me a return soldier told me They made the CMP in Canada with right hand drive for driving on the left hand side ,and when they got to Eruope they drove on the right hand side

We have a real screw up in Canada with the two measurements .A truck can have both sizes of nuts on it The housing industry has gone back to the imperial system
