Default What are these vehicles x2

This time last week, I received a hand written note in my post box, saying the author had some Ford Blitz components he didn't want any longer. He lives three roads over from me, so I went to see what he had. I was a little disappointed (but my Wife wasn't) that the two rolling chassis he has are not CMP at all. One has MH in raised letters on the front hub centres, so I assume that's Marmon Herington, but beyond that, I have know idea beyond fact they were both wearing flathead v8 engines the "MH" still has it's engine, the other chassis doesn't. Water pumps on the engine that's there are single pulley type, and distributor is divers bell, so I believe that engine is late 30s or very early 40s. No body panels exist for either vehicle.

I will post all the photos I took of the two vehicles, and ask for any information I can give the owner, because he has no idea what they are now that he is aware they aren't CMPs. I'll do my best not to mix the photos, but no promises!
