Having now gone through the file you sent me and for those that have followed this thread and the original thread dealing with Edward's death, (Books photos about executed POWS June 1944) that can be found on the WW2 Military History & Equipment forum, which can be found
here, I'll post the last correspondence, that both pertains to his death and gives us the clearest picture of how he was killed. There is nothing more in the file, except for the below mentioned.
The attached correspondence is from the Records Office CMHQ(London) to the Director of Records NDHQ(Ottawa), and contains the statement of a witness to Edward's (and the others) death on 8 June, 1944, after having been captured.
