My town Remembrance Day ceremony was not acknowledged by our Provincial government. They published an on line 'where to go' help page that missed my town. I fired off a request to have that corrected and the 'communication analyst' said he would checkout the local Legion's facebook page to see if there really was one (there has been for the last forever). Because the 'analyst' couldn't find it on facebook he concluded there was no such ceremony so he didn't update the list. I attended the same non-existent ceremony this morning and report the Legion, townsfolks, current serving members and WW2 vets were there along with about 200 elementary school kids all wearing poppies. Cries were had by all when the piper played his lament. The customary flypast of a Harvard didn't happen because it was snowing like heck.
