I'm wondering if a
genuine shipping crate would be marked as "Ford Engine" on the side? Also, the Ford part number for "Engines
with transmission" is not 6097, that is only for a complete engine assembly alone. The blue paint also appears brighter/lighter than other examples of genuine Ford blue that I've seen.
