Default Trailer Identity

I inherited this trailer from my grandfather who had a ships tank in it for water delivery.
Incidentally he had a Chevy truck with an army water tanker on the back. I believe he supplied the water to mix the cement for the Chinchilla water tower.

I cut it up to fit a rural fire-brigade water tank for fighting fires and carting water so my family could have a bath occasionally.

If I knew then!

I know it had timber floor and sides with angle iron corners.

50 years ago I had agricultural tyres fitted, I remember they cost a gazillion bucks, or was that $80 each fitted, anyway it was a few months wages at the time. I remember well, the tyre service complaining how bad the nuts were!

Grampa had a leaf spring and a home made pintle ring for the hitch.

I have a pintle ring and would like to restore the hitch to original.
