Supply & Services Canada M38A1 Diposal
Greetings to All,
...after doing some house cleaning I came across several Supply and Services Canada-Disposal Operations Services auction papers from 1985 to 1987 of which I used to attend in Montreal, Quebec. Attached are 2 pages from a May 7, 8 & 9, 1987 auction in Montreal where 10 CDN 2's, M38A1's were auctioned off in lots #54 to #63....enjoy the view....from what I remember, they were purchased from $1600 to about $2600 dollars....most of the jeeps started and ran well. I did not purchase one at the time as I was told that they cannot be driven on the roads and that they were only purchased for off road use by hunters etc....go figure!
