Hi Phil

Yes the TCS family of sets were originally designed for use as a small marine craft radio, but it seems that the TCS radios were widely used in other types of transport. I had a wartime RAF manual showing the TCS radio set up in a Bedford MW house type van.

After the war, these TCS sets were often fitted in commercial fishing boats. Collins radio equipment was and still is considered to be the "Rolls Royce" of radio brands .
