I did my roof (a Ford, but I was told the roof came from a Chevy) a couple of years ago. A large tree limb had fallen on it.

There's a few locating pins in between the bolts which are a pretty tight fit. Some rust and maybe some deformation can make those lock in place. I didn't go the hammer and chisel route, but I did use a pretty big pry bar, beside where the pins are located. I was replacing the windshield frame with NOS and having the back wall reskinned at the same time, so I wasn't too worried about a little damage to the mating parts.

It is only 15 bolts - nine in the back, six in the front.
