*********** ******** RARE BOOKS ********* *
01) The STORYof INGLIS (hardcover 63 pgs, several illustrations-photos,) presumably this was a promotional book by Inglis postwar showing all its production capabilities—includes a small section on ordnance- guns ships enginse etc) Inglis was a huge (!!!) 02) COLLIER”S NEW PHOTOGRAPHIC HISTORYof the WORLD’S WAR; “Photographs by the official photographers acccompanying each army- includes sketches, drawings, and paintings made by artists at the front” 1919 ((remember this was not WW1..this was the –only world war at the time, hence the title))
Actually, very few drawings, almost entirely photos. 12in x 16.5 in….fair cond only… fair because slight staining of cover, and several photos have been cut out..possibly for some student’s school project?
Nevertheless many absolutely incredibly astounding photos, surely many very rarely seen ! although it has had the “student” treatment I am always completely amazed at these photos.
