Default Cyprus photos

Thank you Mariano for these interesting photos. I have 4 comments: Firstly, do you have a date for these photos.
Secondly to Richard: was the armoured 1-ton Humber truck commonly called a "Pig" before the up-armouring which was done later I presume for Northern Ireland patrols?
Thirdly: the 1953 Canadian Ford M38A1 has an early CFR number of 53-32220. This number leads credence to my belief the last 5 digits of the CFR number for the 1953 M38A1 jeeps followed sequentially from the end of the 5 digit series for the approximately 2165 1952 M38 that were produced. (Incidently the 53 means the year it was inspected, the next 3 is the class of vehicle in this case the 1/4-ton jeep, and the final 4 digits are individual number assigned to this particular vehicle).
Finally, the use of the Quebec licence plate is interesting. Does the "G" perhaps mean a government vehicle?
... Brian
