Looking for Sherman plate steel in British Columbia

Two questions - does anyone know who is behind the Youtube channel 'The Backyard Tank Show'?
Second, an acquaintance in Ottawa makes axes and he asked about getting 20-30 lbs of plate armour from an M4 for his projects. Provenance is important with this guy. Who in the Lower Mainland of BC might have something or be able to help me out? I will be visiting Vancouver the week before Easter, and would have no reservations lugging home a suitcase sized slab.
