If the picture is a wartime picture (1939-1945) and was taken at Oakville, Ontario,
“B” Company of the: -
The Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment) - Non-Permanent Active Militia (from 1 Sep 39 to 7 Nov 40)
1st (Reserve) Battalion, The Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment) - The Canadian Army (Reserve) (from 7 Nov 40 to 6 Feb 41)
2nd (Reserve) Battalion, The Lorne Scots (Peel, Dufferin and Halton Regiment) - The Canadian Army (Reserve) (from 6 Feb 41 to 1 Apr 46)
was localized at Oakville and the carrier would not carry an Arm of Service or Formation marking, if indeed it were a ‘Lorne Scots’ carrier.
