Default WANTED: Royal Engineers' Lancaster Rfile (1850s) for museum

The City of New Westminster in British Columbia was established 150 years ago, in February 1859, by the Royal Engineers. When the RE Detachment under Col R. C. Moody left in 1863, they left their equipment behind for the Militia to use. I have located a couple of Lancasters but they are in other museums.

I am the Manager of the New Westminster Museum & Archives and we have two of the Lancaster bayonets (one with scabbard) but do not yet have a Lancaster rifle.

Now if you happen to have an RE scarlet tunic from c. 1859 vintage ... we would be interested. A London made 1851 Colt Navy revolver (without UC or LC markings) would also be of interest.
