... yeah, pretty cool there. But expect a lot of tourists, closed roads, traffic jams etc. Most things like parades etc. happens before June 6, so the best thing is to be there at the end of May until 8th or 9th June. Book your B&B quite ahead, at least 6 months, probably more. Try
Gites de France. I would stay in the Bayeux area. It's quite in the middle.
