Thanks for that Lynn. The pump I ordered has a pressure of 4-6 lbs. I've plumbed it through the original (Redundant) mechanical pump to make it look as authentic as possible.(which might have reduced the pressure at the carb?)

With the ignition on and pump running but without the engine running, there is no flooding of the carb. I only ran the engine for a minute yesterday as it was peeing down and I didn't want to open the roller door.

I've been on this job, on an off for over a week now. A major problem has been that my very nice and expensive Braded petrol hoses have succumbed to the effects of Ethanol. Despite buying the lowest to no ethanol petrol and using an additive anyway. So I've had the very awkward job of fitting Ethanol proof rubber hoses. Ron
