Yes, true. From what I've been able to gather, the volume of uploaded pics seems to be overloading the server, forcing me to shut down the forum and run a series of diagnostics which usually find me the corrupted jpg allowing me to delete it. I'm still looking into it, though, and will report when I have a more complete understanding of the problem.
I also have to upgrade the forum version again -
no, not like the last time! - and hopefully that may help as well.
