# 1 was the original frame for the AFV mounted supply unit and set. This was plated steel (probably cadmium, so be careful of any powdery corrosion).

# 21 was the later (green painted) version, probably less of a hazard, otherwise identical.

All screw threads are Imperial (BSF), the strap tensioner is 5/16-in BSC (British Standard Cycle Thread), which I think is 26 tpi. Taps/dies are available from various model engineering suppliers in the UK. It may be best to make the knurled knuts out of stainless steel rather than painting or electroplating them.
