The box in the photo is mine and it is indeed a box off a M211 or some other variant of the M135 deuce and a half. I only put it on the thread to give Bob something to compare to.

When Canada got rid of the M135 fleet, many to most of these boxes were removed from the trucks prior to sale and were used for things like shelter for the smokers (who back then had to go outside the building to engage in their habit), or else for extra storage for vehicle spares. Over the years, they were gradually sent to new homes as the novelty wore off.

I was given mine when my unit moved to a new building and the aesthetics of an old truck box sitting outside of the side door did not meet the vision of the leaders.
